(also known as my book club’s favorite bread)

This is a great sandwich bread, although it is also good plain or with butter. We usually eat at least half a loaf of this during book club, and it is much healthier than munching on cookies!

1 1/4 c. water
1 1/2 T. butter
1 1/2 c. bread flour
1 1/2 c. wheat flour
1/2 c. of any whole grain (oatmeal, 7 grain cereal, etc.)
1 1/2 t. salt
3 T. sugar
1 1/2 T. dry milk powder
2-3 t. yeast

Place in bread machine in order listed.  I use the fruit&nut setting for this, just because it seems to work the best on recipes with half white/half wheat flour.
